The annual amount that you elect during open enrollment will be spread out evenly and deducted from your paycheck, pre-tax throughout the calendar year (24 payments for biweekly paid and 12 payments for monthly paid). New hires or employee's employed by two or more employers that are not members of the same controlled group may elect up to $2,550 under each employer's Health Care FSA in a year. Employees may contribute up to $2,550 per calendar year to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account. All employees enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan with FSA will receive an employer contribution of $500 in a Health Care FSA (with the exception of RAB's and Research Fellows) EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONSĬontribution limits to your FSA are regulated by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). You are not required to elect a contribution to the Health Care FSA in order to receive your employer contribution. Contributions for part-time or newly eligible employees are pro-rated based on full-time equivalency (FTE) and/or date of eligibility. Dartmouth will automatically contribute up to $250 per calendar year into a HCFSA. EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTIONSĪll SEI Union, all non-exempt staff and those exempt staff making $60,000 per year or less are eligible to receive an annual employer contribution to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA).
